It all started when…
I was laid off due the economic downturn in 2009. My wife and I had just had our first child and I needed to find a new career. My brother, a financial adviser, bumped into a recruiter for State Farm at a continuing education class. After discussing the industry with my cousin, who is an agency owner in Kansas City, I decided to jump into the insurance industry. After learning the basics of the industry with a State Farm agency, I left to anchor myself at Dolliff Insurance. I liked the idea of being an independent agent and being able to give my clients options on coverage and pricing.
With the ever changing landscape of the insurance industry, I try to make sure that my clients are up to date with the best options they have available to them. I have found that the most rewarding aspect of this industry is educating my clients on the types of coverage that they have. By doing this, I can make sure that my client’s can trust that their assets are protected and done so affordably.
